About the Authors

Michael Kun

Michael Kun is a graduate of the Johns Hopkins University and the University of Virginia Law School.  His first novel, A Thousand Benjamins, was published in 1990.  His second novel, The Locklear Letters, was published in 2003. Since then, Michael has published four more novels -- My Wife and My Dead Wife, You Poor Monster, Everybody Says Hello, and We Are Still Tornadoes, which he co-wrote with Susan Mullen. He has also published the short story collection Corrections to My Memoirs, and has co-authored The Baseball Uncyclopedia and The Football Uncyclopedia. His work also appears in The X-Mas Men. 

Michael lives in Los Angeles with his wife Amy and their daughter Paige. He practices labor and employment law.

Susan Mullen

We Are Still Tornadoes is Susan Mullen’s first novel and first collaboration with Michael Kun. She is a graduate of Duke University, where she studied English literature, and the University of Virginia School of Law. She practices law and lives in Northern Virginia. Sue has been married to her law school classmate Kevin Mullen for 26 years, and they have two daughters.
